Balsamic Gorgonzola Pizza with Arugula & Prosciutto

  • 16 oz. pizza dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cup mozzarella, sliced to rounds
  • 1.5 cup gorgonzola
  • 2 cup arugula leaves
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 5 slices thin prosciutto 

    1. Preheat oven to 450 F. Allow for pizza dough to rise, at least 20 minutes. Then roll dough into a 10 to 12 in circle, and cover with cornmeal.
    2. Cover with a thin layer of pizza sauce, mozzarella rounds, and gorgonzola; place in oven for 9 minutes.
    3. Quickly remove pizza from oven, lay prosciutto flat, top with arugula, spritz balsamic vinegar and return to oven for 3 more minutes.
    4. Remove from oven and enjoy!
